Sacred Geometry at Home
The golden ratio, the flower of life, mandalas, the Sri Yantra — these aren't spiritual decoration. They're patterns the nervous system has been reading as 'safe' for thousands of years. Use them in your home and the body settles, the mind clears, and decisions get easier.
Why your body reads geometry before thought
Proportion is one of the earliest information cues the human visual system evolved to detect. Spaces built on golden-ratio proportions register as orderly to the brain before any conscious aesthetic judgement. Spaces built on broken or random proportion subtly trigger threat detection in the same circuits that read rustling grass on the savannah. Most modern apartment interiors break proportion accidentally.
The five patterns to start with
- Golden ratio (1:1.618) — apply to picture-frame heights, table-to-room ratios, headboard width relative to bed length.
- Vesica Piscis / mandala symmetry — for entranceway focal points and centre-of-room rugs.
- Sri Yantra — meditation focal point, especially for the Wealth zone of the Geo-7 layout.
- Flower of Life — for ceiling roses, lighting fixture centring, and as wall art in the Growth zone.
- Hexagonal tessellation — for floor tile patterns and rug textures — registers as 'natural order' to the nervous system.
How sacred geometry fits Bio-7 + Geo-7
Each Bio-7 rhythm has a corresponding geometric pattern in its Geo-7 zone. Circadian (rest zone) pairs with symmetric, low-detail proportion. Digestive (fire zone) pairs with triangular and radial forms. Wealth zone pairs with golden-ratio rectangles and the Sri Yantra. You don't need to memorise this — the Sacred Geometry course walks through it room by room.
